I love do-it-yourself projects. Any day that Im sitting around bored with nothing to do, Ill start looking for something to do. One of my most recents are some additions to my porch garden. I planted many herbs and other plants in a shoe organizer and I just love how easy it is to take care of them all and enjoy them. I also planted a few tomato plants in upside down soda bottles. I cant wait to see the fruits of that labor! I also like to make sure the birds have snacks in the wintertime, so I made several of the round feeder discs to hang from the trees. For Christmas I decided that everyone will get a personalized coffee mug. I love the simplicity of buying plain mugs and using sharpies to decorate them. All you have to do to ensure permanence is bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. And I think I will fill them with other homemade things such as lip balms and these adorable salt dough tags. With so many ideas, I may be busy for a while! See these and many more.
